Cast of Characters
Me -- a 30-something widow (widowed suddenly at age 29) and "recovering attorney"-turned-real estate agent

Sheldon -- my husband

Antonio -- what I called Sheldon before going public with his identity on this blog

Brian -- my late husband, who died suddenly of a pulmonary embolism at the age of 31

Frequently Mentioned Friends:

Erin (married to Chad) -- good friends of mine who knew me and my husband in Iowa and who now live in Austin; Erin lived with me briefly when we first moved to Austin around the same time

Ellie* -- a friend from Iowa who helped me tremendously in many ways after Brian died (*not to be confused with Ellie the cat)

Hart -- my husband's best friend from ages 6-31, and someone I grew up with as well and consider a dear friend

Kristine -- my best friend in Iowa, a running partner, and probably the person I leaned on most heavily after Brian's death

Wilson -- my husband's good friend from high school, and a good friend of mine as well
